It wasn’t such a smart idea: a 17-year-old German “rushed” through Kitzbühel in a completely overcrowded golf cart on Saturday evening – until he turned into an underpass! Several people were injured.
The vehicle was not approved for traffic – and yet the 17-year-old German made a “quick” trip through Kitzbühel with the golf cart and five (!) other people on board.
It happened around 6:30 pm: “In the area of a railway underpass, the car overturned due to excessive speed and excess weight and all six people were thrown from the vehicle,” police said.
Multiple injured, two had to go to hospital
Four passengers suffered injuries, two of whom had to be transported by ambulance to the district hospital in St. Johann in Tirol after first aid at the accident site.
