In Austria, 11,115 new corona infections have been reported in the past 24 hours (from 9.30 am on Friday). A week ago, there were 12,585 new cases. There was a data correction for the deaths in Vienna, as the Ministry of Health and the Interior explained.
So far there are 4,669,240 positive test results in Austria. At 9:30 am, 18,977 people with SARS-CoV-2 infection had died across Austria, and 4,521,552 had recovered.
There are currently 1,496 people infected with the coronavirus in hospital treatment. Of these, 80 are treated in intensive care.
