Unknown perpetrators, blowing off steam with superglue on front door locks, caused a stir. In Oberwart entire streets are affected. Residents of the so-called mountain of debt and homeowners in Beethovengasse complained about the vicious attack.
Many expressed their displeasure on social internet platforms. Police had not received any reports on Thursday.
Case in Neusiedl
Recently, such an attack had sparked outrage in the Neusiedl am See district. In a cloak-and-dagger operation in January this year, unknown individuals glued door locks at the Vaccination and Testing Center (BITZ) in Gols.
When the cleaning staff finished and wanted to leave, they couldn’t lock the doors. It was assumed that the perpetrators were opponents of vaccination. A tip from professionals: “The glue in the lock can be melted and removed with heat.”
