In Austria, 9213 new corona infections have been reported in the past 24 hours (from Tuesday 9.30 am). A week ago, there were 11,758 new cases. 18 other people infected with the virus died.
So far there are 4,705,111 positive test results in Austria. At 9:30 a.m., 19,024 people with SARS-CoV-2 infection had died across Austria, and 4,564,278 had recovered.
A total of 1697 patients are currently being treated in hospital. 93 of them are being cared for in intensive care units (plus five compared to the previous day). 1604 people are in the normal wards (plus 56 compared to the previous day).
