Accident drama on the B137 at the Wels-Nord exit: two cars collided near the intersection and a 25-year-old was seriously injured.
On Thursday around 3.20 pm, a 26-year-old from Buchkirchen drove his car north on the B137. At the same time, a 25-year-old from Marchtrenk steered her car from the Wels Nord exit of the A25 towards the B137.
Car thrown in ditch
The two vehicles collided at the intersection, bringing the 26-year-old’s car to a stop on a traffic island and the 25-year-old’s car in a ditch in the oncoming lane.

The 25-year-old was unconscious, sustained life-threatening injuries and had to be extricated from the vehicle by firefighters. Both parties involved are included in the Wels Clinic.
