Thousands of PCR gargle tests are now being recalled by LEAD Horizon. The company announced that a technical error had occurred in one batch of the test sets.
As LEAD Horizon announced on Twitter, the batch in question was mislabeled. The code on the tube does not match that on the instructions for use. The result: the tests cannot be evaluated.
This concerns test kits with the sample number LHRxxx. If you have such a set at home, it can be exchanged at BIPA. It is also advisable to compare the sample number on the instructions for use and the tube before testing.
It was emphasized that there was no health risk to the test users. “The product itself is of course fine,” said LEAD Horizon, apologizing for the inconvenience.
