Siemens Gamesa caused its losses in the first nine months of its fiscal year to €1,226 million. The company has tripled the red figures of 368 million euros that the group had registered a year ago.
In the quarter from April to June, the group’s losses amounted to 446 million euros and sales in the third quarter amounted to 2,436 million euros, 10% less.
According to the company, the results have been influenced by: the market volatility and supply chain delays.
Given the data, the company has stated that it will maintain a business-oriented structure, while strengthening the COO (Chief Operating Officer) and CTO (Chief Technology Officer) teams to “accelerate harmonization and standardization within Siemens Gamesa”. Therefore, companies will focus on: sales areasproject implementation and product roadmap.
The company has emphasized that the new structure makes it possible to create a single roadmap for all companies that facilitates the scalability of technology solutions across the company and reduces non-conformity costs (NCC) through harmonized processes, while focusing on on the core competencies of Siemens Gamesa.
