There are new findings in the case of the alleged gang rape of an 18-year-old at a house party in Innsbruck. The clinic has made a photo documentation. The suspects have not confessed. Now their detention was imposed.
An 18-year-old Tyrolean woman was allegedly raped several times at the end of April during a party in an apartment in Innsbruck. The martyrdom can be seen on mobile phone videos. Four suspects – around 20 years old, with Arabic first names and Austrian citizenship – were arrested six days later. However, the Innsbruck Public Prosecutor’s Office rejected the request for pre-trial detention by the Innsbruck Regional Court. As a result, the suspects were released.
Now there are new insights. The public prosecutor’s office fought against the decision of the subdistrict court judge, the higher subdistrict court followed the complaint at the beginning of June and imposed pre-trial detention on the suspects. Since then they are in the “Ziegelstadl”.
Victim was under the influence of alcohol, cocaine, crack
They strongly suspect that the Tyrolean – who, according to the forensic medical report at the time of the crime, had between 1.47 and 1.61 promille alcohol in her blood, was under the influence of cocaine and crack, had a “deep consciousness “. disorder”, was defenseless and unable to realize what was happening – abused them. Suspects do not come forward
All four men do not confess. They claim that there were “consensual sexual acts between the four of them and the Tyrolean” and that they were “neither defenseless nor otherwise affected”. Only one of them emphasized that the 18-year-old was “noticeably drunk, swayed slightly when walking, seemed more ready than the others and that the boys were sober”.
Three of the four suspects also stated that such house parties with girls regularly took place in the apartment in question – “in Corona times even weekly”. Vodka was often bought because it makes you drunk. There have always been problems with girls.

The local woman stated that none of the sexual contact with the men that night was voluntary on her part. She could only remember sitting in the car and crying.
