The Basque Confederation of Euskomer Commerce, which unites 101 trade associations with 18,000 branches in the Basque Country, has requested a period of adjustment and flexibility to apply the energy-saving measures adopted by the government of Spain.
Euskomer explains that it considers “an adjustment period” necessary so that the commercial sector can “execute the logistical procedures necessary to comply with the possible nuances considered by the regulations (temperature, door closures, light-off hours…) ” , according to his “special case histories”.
After demonstrating a willingness on Monday to cooperate so that “the measures do not go against the interests of the services of the merchants”, this Basque retail association asks the authorities for “consensus and clarity in the messages to be able to communicate correctly ” to our employees the measures to be taken within the specified period”.
Finally, Euskomer sees the need for “a certain flexibility in implementing these measures, taking into account the main factors of the union and the geographic area” with the “focus” on the customer” for whom “we always seek their comfort” .
