Did he – or not, the accused? His right hand raised so strongly at an anti-corona demonstration that he is now in the Vienna regional court for reactivation? Because a police officer is “standing at attention” and with it the Hitler salute.
In no way motivated by National Socialism
No, certainly not, says the impeccable young man, who has never attracted any attention in this regard. He only showed “normal as at school” when asked from the podium who was against the mandatory vaccination of children. Plus, his late best friend was Jewish! His mother confirmed as a witness that “it could never have been so if only the thoughts had fallen in the right direction”.
Acquittal despite demonstration
Judge Eva Brandstetter wants to be sure and has the police officer who filed the report bring the incriminating salute. Promptly he says, “But only with the left hand!” The demonstration convinces neither the judge nor the jury. Lawyer Andreas Moser: “The acquittal fell within half an hour!”
