The FBI I would be looking for official documents in the Florida Residence of the former president of the United States, Donald Trumpas published daily New York Timesciting sources close to the study.
According to the newspaper version, these documents would include: classified material that Trump would have taken from the White House instead of taking it to the historical record as required by law.
Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s mansion in Southeastern Florida’s Palm Beach, has been searched by FBI agents, the former president said.
“These are dark times for our nation as my beautiful home at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach is now under siege, raided and occupied by a large group of FBI agents,” Trump wrote in a statement. The Republican added that “nothing like this had ever happened to a president of the United States, it could only happen in broken third world countries.”
