A shocking discovery was made in Vienna-Donaustadt on Tuesday: a 23-year-old woman found photos of sexual abuse of her now nine-year-old daughter on her partner’s (25) computer. The photos date from 2018, when the child was five years old. The suspect confessed.
When she asked her partner about the photos, an argument broke out between the two. According to the police report, the fight got out of hand. The 25-year-old dragged the mother away from the computer and slightly injured her physically. The woman suffered minor injuries and immediately called police.
Investigations into sexual abuse
The suspect was subsequently arrested. “The computer has been seized,” police spokeswoman Barbara Gass said, and is now under investigation, as is the man’s phone. In addition, an entry and approach ban, as well as a weapons ban, has been pronounced against him.
The Vienna State Police is investigating sexual abuse. According to the police, the suspect confessed during questioning.
