After being stung in the neck by a bee, a 67-year-old pensioner from Upper Austria lost power on Friday and ended up in a ditch. The driver was taken to Amstetten hospital.
A 67-year-old pensioner from Bad Kreuzen was driving her car on the L573 to Pabneukirchen in Bad Kreuzen around 10:36 a.m. on Friday by a bee stung in the neck. This startled the driver and drove the vehicle into the oncoming lane and then into the ditch.
The car hit a street marking, some bushes on the property there and a power distribution box until the vehicle finally came to a stop on the right side.
The driver was taken to Amstetten hospital with unknown injuries.
