During the raid on former US President Donald Trump, the FBI was apparently able to make dangerous discoveries: While searching his luxurious property in Mar-a-Lago, officials seized a significant number of documents classified as “top secret,” because it’s Friday night known.

Investigations based on three federal crimes

Minister of Justice speaks of not an easy decision
US Attorney General Merrick Garland personally endorsed the decision to request a search, he said in a Washington speech. “The ministry does not take such a decision lightly. Whenever possible, less intrusive resources will be sought as an alternative to a search, and any search will be strictly limited,” Garland said.
The move had previously been heavily criticized by Trump himself and by Republicans. US President Joe Biden is accused of politicizing the FBI.
Trump declined to testify in another investigation
Trump was questioned under oath Thursday in another civilian investigation. According to his lawyer, he only answered the question about his name, but refused to testify further during the four-hour interrogation. It concerns the suspicion that Trump is using illegal tricks to save taxes or get loans. He would have calculated the individual organizations larger or smaller depending on their needs.
