The operation continues, but in a slimmed-down version! A week and a half after the opening of insolvency proceedings against Gragger & Cie GmbH, the first course was set for the wood-fired bakery. Two branches were closed by curator Andrea Fruhstorfer.
Curator Andrea Fruhstorfer lets no time pass in the battle for the future of Gragger & Cie GmbH: On December 30, the restructuring process for the wood-fired bakery founded in Ansfelden was opened, while the office network has shrunk significantly. Two sales locations in Vienna have recently closed, so only three are still in operation.
The store on Landstrasse in Linz was closed at the beginning of November and therefore even before the bankruptcy. Signs and posters are reminders of Gragger’s guest appearance downtown. The employees affected by the bankruptcy will be informed during company meetings this week. The mountain of debt would amount to more than 1.1 million euros.
