Austrian companies are urgently looking for young, dynamic and talented people. To support them in this, the first Skills Week Austria will take place throughout Austria from 20 to 24 March. During this week of events, future students and future specialists can try out their skills and taste the various training and further training opportunities.
Skills make all the difference in the professional world. Those who can develop their talents and skills in a first-class education also have the best career opportunities. To showcase the wide range of career opportunities, the Chambers of Commerce have created the new event format Skills Week Austria.
At the premiere of Skills Week Austria – for the first time from 20 to 24 March 2023 – not only the career information centers and educational institutions of the economic chambers in all federal states are opening their doors. The WIFIs and local training companies also show the public how attractive, varied and promising the training of professionals in Austria is. From skilled crafts to jobs in the tourism and IT sector, everyone is here.
To be able to experience the opportunities for attractive vocational training “live” during the Skills Week Austria from 20.-24. March easier than ever. Because in addition to the skills programs in all federal states, the great skills roadshow of the Chambers of Commerce is touring all over Austria. Included here are:
- exciting experimental stations – from woodworking and sewing workshops to flower shops and electrical workshops to tilers,
- the crazy skills reporter Markus Floth, who brings interesting news about skills every day,
- the skills photo wall, on which you put yourself in the spotlight and
- a meet & greet program with the Skills Heroes professionals.
