The Austrian Airlines (AUA) have agreed with the vida union on a new collective labor agreement (KV) for cabin crew and have thus averted an impending labor dispute. The airline announced this in a broadcast on Thursday.
Concrete details cannot be communicated for the time being, as employees want to be informed first. The agreement has already been confirmed by the union.
Travel insured for Easter
With the consensus reached, travel at Easter is assured, the airline wrote. The reason for the now resolved labor dispute was the high inflation and the recent good result of the AUA.
In October, the management and the employee representatives reached agreement on a new collective labor agreement. However, the trade union and works council then called for the conclusion to be improved.
