Tyrolean Julian Hadschchieff became a successful entrepreneur and top athlete with a serious visual impairment. Today he encourages other people with disabilities to push their limits. In the ‘Krone’ interview he tells how he managed it himself and why he sometimes had to fall flat on his face.
“crown”: Mr. Hadschchieff, you were ambassador of the Virtus Ski World Championships for people with intellectual disabilities in Seefeld. What will you take away from this event?
Julian Hadschieff: You get a lot in return. The participants were so enthusiastic, so happy. They hugged. That was fun to watch and showed many who worked there why they did it. You only get that because you make a positive contribution and get an incredible amount in return.
