Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) commented that the Baku street circuit, where the Azerbaijan GP“it’s a unique challenge” and that “straights create opportunities”.
“It’s good to be back after a few weeks away from racing. I recharged my batteries after a very adrenaline-filled start to the season and now I’m looking forward to Baku,” Alonso said in statements sent by his team.
“The circuit introduces us to the drivers a unique challenge as we faced many narrow sections of low speed streets and then very fast directions which creates a lot of opportunities for risk and reward,” added the two-time world champion.
