In the fight against fossil fuels, the Ministry of Climate Protection (BMK) wants to persuade more people to switch to electrified cars and motorcycles. Minister Leonore Gewessler: “It works: almost every fifth new car is now an electric car!” There are also subsidies for the purchase of cargo bikes or folding bikes, which can be powered electrically or conventionally by muscle power. All funding applications can be submitted online at environmentfoerderung.at.
