From September 1, the Austrian Post will increase the postage costs for letters. The price for the Eco-Brief S will increase from 81 cents to 95 cents. In that case, 1.20 euros is due for the Prio Letter S instead of one euro. The Eco Business letter then costs 92 cents instead of the previous 78 cents. International letter mail is also becoming increasingly expensive.
What is new is that the Eco-Brief can be delivered to your letterbox in the future. From September 1, stamps will only be used for this purpose.
Post offers jobs to Kika/Leiner employees
To ensure that the postal service “brings something for everyone” in the future, Österreichische Post AG offered jobs in the company to employees who had been laid off at Kika/Leiner following the recent, blatant job cuts. At the moment there are almost hundreds of vacancies, mainly in the fields of logistics, branches with sales and IT – both full-time and part-time.
