Telekom Austria will list the radio tower activities on the Vienna Stock Exchange in the second half of the year. The supervisory board of Telekom Austria passed the relevant resolutions at its last meeting, the A1 Group announced on Friday.
The new company, in which the masts are bundled, will operate under the name “EuroTeleSites AG” and is expected to be listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange in the second half of this year.
The ownership structure of the spin-off company initially corresponds to that of Telekom Austria. At an extraordinary general meeting on Aug. 1, the spinoff should be decided by shareholders and then quickly implemented, it said.
After two weeks ago the two board members of EuroTeleSites, Ivo Ivanovski and Lars Mosdorf, were nominated, the company’s supervisory board has now also been elected. Barbara Potisk-Eibensteiner, CFO of the Heinzel paper and pulp group, will chair the Supervisory Board.
