The listed Telekom Austria, which is partly owned by the state, achieved a turnover of 2.56 billion euros in the first half of the year, 7.6 percent more than in the same period of the previous year.
Compared to the second quarters of this year and last year, there was an increase of 7.5 percent to 1.21 billion euros. All in all, the group earned 301 million euros in the first half of the year (+1.1 percent) and 167 million euros in the second quarter, a decrease of 0.4 percent compared to the previous year.
Due to the solid sales development in the first half of 2023, Austria’s largest mobile communications company is raising its full-year sales forecast. Turnover growth is now expected to be around five instead of four percent.
