Friedrich Huemer has long made a name for himself as a real estate investor. Now the Polytec founder’s portfolio is growing again. The Upper Austrian joined “You Will Like It Real Estate GmbH” and took over 51 percent of the company, led by Rainer Schönfelder and Thomas Schmid.
“I don’t need to buy anything, for me it’s a sport” – it is with this attitude that Friedrich Huemer enters into contract negotiations when it comes to real estate investments. Even if nothing comes of it, the entrepreneur and founder of Polytec is not offended. True to the motto: learn a lesson, tick it off, move on.
Recently, however, Huemer was able to successfully take on another project: the investor took over 51 percent of “You Will Like It Real Estate GmbH”, making it the majority shareholder of the group, which is managed by Thomas Schmid and Rainer Schönfelder. “We currently have real estate projects worth 75 million euros ready for construction”, says Schmid, “we want to continue to realize good and new projects at fair prices”.

Schönfelder enthuses about Huemer’s “entrepreneurial skill, discipline and exemplary handshake quality”. The Upper Austrian will also participate in possible new locations of the Cooee alpin hotels, the You-Will-Like-It-Group has announced.
