Once again the “Krone” proves its leading role in the private media market online. The just published Austrian web analysis (ÖWA Basic, individual offers) for August 2023 confirms krone.at by far the top position in all important statistics: unique users, unique customers, visits, etc.
The Kronen Zeitung’s lead over its (free) competitors is particularly clear, as already shown in previous evaluations when it comes to the end devices reached, such as mobile phones or computers. Krone.at provided more than 6.8 million “customers” with information in August.
The “Krone” also emerges as the clear winner when it comes to page visits. According to ÖWA Basic, krone.at registers more visits than “Kleine”, “Oe24” and “Kurier” combined, namely almost 53 million.
More than 3.7 million people (unique users) visited krone.at at least once last month, meaning that for the second time in a row, more than 200 million page impressions (views of individual pages on krone.at) were made on our website registered within a month.
Austria’s largest daily newspaper also runs arguably the country’s strongest private news site.
We would like to thank all readers for their great interest and promise that we will continue to keep you reliably informed, even in difficult times.
