Activists once again plunged the federal capital into traffic chaos, and after further incidents in Vienna and Innsbruck, the mood in the economy has also warmed. Logistician Fritz Müller says clearly: “These protests are like a terrorist attack on our location. No one has to explain to me that he is sorry.”
The persistent actions of climate activists have always aroused the real ire of motorists. Past incidents have already shown how great the dissatisfaction among the population really is. On Monday there was a truly dangerous situation: while driving near Handelskai, a Viennese driver took activists of the last generation onto the hood of the car. But that was just a sad culmination of the past few days and a possible harbinger of future incidents.
