The home accessories chain Depot, which is in financial trouble, is taking turnover to a higher level: in the 26 (of a total of 49) branches that are loss-making and where the ‘sale’ is taking place, the discount level for various product groups is now being increased from ten to twenty per cent.
The well-known home decoration chain Depot has, as reported, entered financial turbulence: 26 of its 49 locations in Austria are making a loss and are under supervision. The branches in question have been selling at minus ten percent for two weeks now. Now boss Rainer Schrems has doubled the discount on various product groups to 20 percent.
