The learning platform Preply has collected current sales prices for a scoop of ice cream in 40 holiday regions in Europe. The most expensive ice cream can be found in Norway, the cheapest in Turkey.
On average, a scoop of ice cream in European tourist regions costs 2.39 euros. The cheapest ice fun awaits holidaymakers on the Turkish Riviera. Here a portion only costs about 0.55 euros. Nowhere else can you get a scoop of ice cream for less than a euro.
However, in Mallorca a scoop of ice cream now costs 2.84 euros, which is above average. In Spain it is cheaper in the Canary Islands at 2.04 euros and on the Costa Brava at 2.81 euros.
Ice fun in Austria is relatively affordable
Ice fun is also relatively affordable in Austria. In Tyrol, the refreshment is available in a waffle or a cup for 1.74 euros. The scoop at Lake Wörthersee is even cheaper, where a portion costs 1.70 euros.
