The Austrian construction group Porr benefits from large infrastructure contracts. In the first nine months of 2024, it achieved a profit of 60.8 million euros – which was 22.5 percent more than in the same period of the previous year (49.7 million euros).
Construction production increased by 4.6 percent to five billion euros, turnover increased by 3.3 percent to 4.6 billion euros, the company announced on Thursday.
According to the information, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) improved by 8.8 percent to 249.7 million euros. There was a profit before interest and taxes (EBIT) of 91.9 million euros (plus 17.8 percent). Earnings per share (EPS) rose by 12.4 percent to 1.18 euros.
Production yield approximately 6.7 billion euros
Based on the order book, Porr’s board of directors expects production revenue of between 6.7 billion and 6.8 billion euros and sales turnover of between 6.15 and 6.25 billion euros for the full year 2024. The operating result (EBIT) must be between 150 million and 160 million euros.
