For Anna, 34 years old, Christmas was not always a celebration of joy, but of stress. She always wanted to give her two children and the family something special so that they would be happy – as is expected in our society. Financially it was a struggle for the single mother. The pressure to buy expensive gifts and meet expectations increased year after year – until she had to realize that this could no longer continue.
