As the largest online retailer in the world, Amazon had its hands full before Christmas. But even after the holidays, things remain uneasy: many things that were given away but not well received (classics include socks, underwear and household appliances) now have to be returned to the company. Usually not a problem, especially since Amazon has revised its return policy for the 2024 holiday season to allow for longer return periods on purchases. But different rules apply to many product categories that are especially popular as gifts.
