The Austrian stock index ATX reached its last high from shortly before the Ukraine war on Friday.
With a value of 4079 points, he briefly exceeded the 4078 points of 11 February 2022. The index also marked a 16-year high point. The last time the ATX was so high was in the course of the escalation of the financial crisis in 2008.
From 11 February 2022, the leading index of the Viennese stock exchange went down. Just before the outbreak of the war, the fears had charged the stock markets of the stock for an approaching secretary of Ukraine.
After the Russian invasion on February 22, 2022, the price losses were considerably expanded. Almost exactly three years later, the ATX was able to make up for these losses again. In the end, however, the index was a bit deeper at 4067 points.
