29,000 square meters of high-tech, green roofs, space for 1500 IT experts dynatrace, a worldwide leading software company with a founding and development location in Linz, celebrates the next phase in the winter hedge with the same level. The new campus, the expansion of which will be completed by the end of the year, will attract talents from all over the world in the future.
The software giant Dynatrace originally wanted to become high in the winter hedge in Linz: a 17 -storey high -rise buildings with an underground seven -storey parking garage was known to have been planned in the first plans. But after intensive discussions with residents and especially with representatives of the city, a radical change of naturally initiated was initiated.
Instead of upgrading, the expansion is now wide – like a modern campus with seven malfunctions with a considerably smaller underground parking space. The decision was well received by the Design Advisory Board of the City, which gave the project in 2022. “From a retrospective point of view, the project even got attractiveness,” emphasizes Veronika Leibetseder, Global Vice President Workplace Experience at Dynatrace. And Peter Riegler, director of the Bouwbedrijf Neinteufel, also sees the reorganic as a real profit: “This resulted in completely new opportunities.”
Fully build in the plan
Yesterday – almost a year after the start of construction – the roof of the same way was celebrated. In general, a high -tech campus of 29,000 m² with richly green roofs, spacious terraces and lots of glass are made at the founding location. The new building is gradually connected to the existing building and offers space for 1500 IT experts. The completion is before the end of 2025, probably withdrawn in the autumn 2026.
Green magnet for top talents
With its modern concept, Dynatrace not only wants to create a job, but also a real talent magnet. “With spacious green and open spaces, open architecture and a refined concept for modern work, we want to create an environment that develops a strong suction effect on talent far beyond Austria,” explains Leibetseder.
The infrastructure also contributes to this: a company sticks, a gym of the company, a generous company restaurant and an extensive café are supposed to make the campus a feel-good location and an international hotspot for the IT, AI and security community.
Sustainability has capitalized
A Showcase project will also be the new campus in terms of sustainability: a 250 kWp photooltaic system on the roof, 300 bicycle parking spaces, including service station, charging stations for electric cars, e-bikes and e-scooters, as well as generous green open spaces are part of the extensive sustainability concept.
A quarter of the addition is modest
Another contribution to sustainability: Because Dynatrace will only gradually reach the entire staff, 5150 square meters of office space are available for subletting. “We believe that Hochmodern workspace should not be empty at an excellent location on the Linz Digital Mile. That is our motivation for this decision. We don’t want to make a profit, “says Leibeteder.
