Sebastian Kurz has more or less withdrawn from the public eye since the ÖVP’s federal party conference. He will publish his autobiography in the fall. Until then, however, he wants to focus on his new professional career.
And he is taking new entrepreneurial steps, according to his environment. He spends 20 to 25 days a month abroad – mostly with his family.
In addition to his work for US tech investor Peter Thiel in Silicon Valley, Kurz himself (SK Management GmbH) advises companies “primarily in the fields of technology and renewable energy” in the US, Germany, UK and the Middle East.
Close relations with ÖVP donor Schütz
Because this company is doing so well, Kurz has built a new team of employees and set up an office in Tel Aviv and one in Dubai. He has also recently developed a close business relationship with Alexander Schütz (he donated it to the ÖVP) – they invest in companies together.
