According to US Information, Washington and Beijing have now come to a green location in the trade disputes.
An agreement has been concluded to reduce the American trade deficit, said American commercial officer Jamieson Greer on Sunday. US President Donald Trump had occupied most of Chinese imports with a duty of 145 percent. China responded to many American goods with a return feed of 125 percent inch.
Before the conversations in Geneva, Trump had demonstrated that he was ready to compromise and correctly called an 80 percent customs rate for China. His spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt, however, emphasized that Beijing also had to be ready for concessions because Washington would not unilaterally lower the rates. However, China had repeatedly insisted that the United States should first pick up its rates.
