There were first conversations on Friday for a short work scheme at the Hallin Mechanical EMCO EMCO: Both the management and the trade union are confident. The EMCO boss reveals in an interview with the “Krone” currently on which a future solution for the destroyed warehouse is also being worked on.
The Hallein engineer EMCO wants to find it back on the right track after the big fire in the last week. As reported, they want to overcome the fire-related bottlenecks with short time work-the first conversations were held on Friday between the director AMS and the Union. Both the business management and the employee representative agreed: “We still need a few conversations, but so far it was very constructive,” said Thomas Koch of the GPA. All cuts, such as dismissal, don’t seem to be a problem: “Everyone wants the company to run again,” says Koch.
Team is working on Logistics Concept
Even EMCO boss Karl Pichler ensures that “the goal is to keep all employees.” While Kripo researchers are still looking for the cause of the fire, the company has put together a team of twelve members to guarantee production. According to Pichler, the team takes care of the purchase of spare parts. A logistics concept is submitted for this purpose.
Because: because of the destroyed warehouse there is no room. That is why existing warehouses have been adjusted and the construction of a temporary replacement hall is also planned. “We had a solid order situation for the fire. We are very positive for the future,” emphasizes Pichler.
