The Upper Austrian technology group Kontron has received an order from the French Railway SNCF in the range of three digital million. With the contract, the railway communication system has been further developed to the SO -Called Future Railway Mobile Communication System (FRMCS).
FRMCS is a 5G-based communication standard for rail traffic systems. There was no accurate amount for the mandate of a million dollars.
“Since 2003 we have been a reliable supplier, system integrator and partner for SNCF and have now sealed our collaboration more than a decade,” said the director of Kontron Transportation, Richard Neustsl.
