The flowering chip manufacturer Nvidia announced the resumption of the sale of his H20 Graphic Processorchips (GPU) for AI applications to China on Monday.
According to a blog post from the company, Nvidia has asked the US government for the resumption of the H20 sales and expects the licenses to be granted soon. Shortly thereafter you want to start delivery, says Nvidia.
The company also announced a new RTX Pro GPU, which was specially developed for China. NVIDIA described the processor as a “full in accordance” and suitable for digital twins ACI applications in areas such as intelligent factories and logistics.
NVIDIA director Jensen Huang met US President Donald Trump and political decision-makers in Washington and later with civil servants in Beijing to promote AI cooperation and to underline the support of NVIDIA for open source research and global AI development, the company said.
