Russia has cut off gas supplies to OMV since Saturday morning. This meant that Russia was ahead of Ukraine. They had already announced that they would no longer allow Russian gas to pass through to Austria when the existing gas transit contract expires in early 2025. And to make matters worse, Donald Trump will soon be a completely unpredictable politician in the White House – and no one knows exactly what connections he has to Russia.
