La 1 premieres today ‘Blocked by the wall’, which marked the return of Àngel Llàcer to the public channel

A new season begins full of novelties and return of the star formats to seduce the viewer. Consolidated programs will return, such as ‘Masterchef Celebrity’, ‘La Voz’ or ‘Got Talent’, and others will be released that will try to gain a foothold in the grueling daily battle for audiences.

The season of the first TVE channel will start on Monday 12 September with a renewed morning slot. It starts at eight o’clock with ‘La hora de La 1’. Then (11:30) Lourdes Maldonado and Marc Calderó will follow the news with the new space ‘Speaking clear’ until the first edition of ‘Telediario’, which will be given a new face after the departure of Ana Blanco. Before the prime time announces the seventh season of Masterchef celebrity, which stars Norma Duval, Patricia Conde, Daniela Santiago, Nico Abad or Ruth Lorenzo. Other entertainment formats will follow: ‘Incredible Duets’, presented by Juan y Medio, which brings together experienced singers and promising young people, or the new ‘Lazos de sangre’, with Boris Izaguirre and the new competition ‘Joker’. In fiction, the bet is ‘Force of Peace’, starring Silvia Alonso, and ‘Everything can happen’, an Italian series based on the American ‘Parenthood’, in after-dinner hours.

Susanna Griso kicks off the season with her return today (8:55am) to ‘Espejo Público’. Journalist Victoria Arnáu will be the new co-presenter along with Lorena García. In the evening ‘El Hormiguero’ returns with Pablo Motos as presenter and with an exceptional guest: the Eurovision Song Contest, Chanel. Lali Espósito and Omar Montes make their debut as collaborators of the program. The eleventh season of the series ‘Amar es para siempre’ is coming, which is set in 1981, with the additions of Melani Olivares and Jorge Bosch. The big bet for prime time is ‘La Voz’, with Laura Pausini, Luis Fonsi, Pablo López and Antonio Orozco as ‘coaches’, and the ‘Joaquín, el rookie’ format with the Betis footballer. ‘Hermanos’ and ‘Infiel’ complete the A3 nights.

A big novelty of the new Cuatro television course is the return of Risto Mejide with the interview format ‘Chester’, broadcast for the last time in 2019. The daily schedule continues with ‘En boca de todos’ presented by Diego Losada; ‘High tension’, Christian Gálvez’s competition; ‘Everything is a lie, even with Risto; the magazine show ‘Cuatro al día’, with Ana Terradillos as the new face after Joaquín Prat’s jump to ‘Ya es noon’ (Telecinco); and the appointments of ‘First dates’ organized by Carlos Sobera. In prime time, new episodes of ‘Planeta Calleja’, ‘Volando Voy’, ‘Cuarto Milenio’, ‘The good doctor’ or the formats presented by Iker Jiménez and Carmen Porter: ‘Cuarto Milenio’, ‘Horizonte’ and ‘Future’ .

The Mediaset chain will try to regain its dominance in the audience with a wide variety of premieres. In terms of ‘reality’, the novelty is ‘Nightmare in El Paraíso’, based on ‘The Farm’ (‘La Granja’) presented by Lara Álvarez and Carlos Sobera. Pipi Estrada, Gloria Camila, Víctor Janeiro or Omar Sánchez (former Anabel Pantoja) are among the participants. The eighth edition of ‘Got Talent’ will also arrive, which will restore the live galas paralyzed by the pandemic and will include Paula Echevarría as the jury, along with Edurne, Risto Mejide and Dani Martínez. Telecinco also celebrates Queen Letizia’s 50th birthday with a documentary about her figure and will premiere “In the name of Rocío,” the second season of the docuseries starring Rocío Carrasco. Also goes ‘Who is my father?’ premiered, about illegitimate children of the most famous families in our country, or the new ‘The island of temptations’.

The dedication to news and information will remain the hallmark of La Sexta. Antonio García Ferreras returns with a new season of ‘Al Rojo Vivo’, while the evening slot is directed by Iñaki López and Cristina Pardo in ‘Más vale Tarte’. The novelty is on Saturday afternoon with Alfonso Arús, who will try his successful morning show ‘Aruseros’ this weekend with a new version. They continue with ‘The Sixth Night’, ‘The Sixth Column’ or ‘Investigation Team’ and, predictably, ‘Saved’. Chef Alberto Chicote will premiere the new ‘Nightmare in the Kitchen’ programs.
