Risto, Edurne, Dani Martínez and Paula Echevarría were amazed by the vocal “quality” of the group born in the region

Belter Souls’ performance has won over the four members of the ‘Got Talent’ jury. Risto Mejide, Edurne, Dani Martínez and Paula Echevarría were impressed by the vocal quality of each of the members of the Murcian music company, which appeared on the television program Telecinco on Tuesday 20th.

The group, consisting of 8 vocalists, a pianist and a drummer, performed Coldplay’s ‘Viva la vida’. A brilliant performance that started with Pablo playing the piano and lowered a mysterious curtain, giving way to the rest of the Belter Souls members. The performance lifted the audience there and captivated the jury. “Bravo”. This was the first word Risto Mejide uttered, one of the most difficult televisions to convince. Although he emphasized the voice of one of the girls: «You, the second from the left, have an impressive gospel voice. That’s talent,” said Risto.

These positive comments were joined by the rest of the jury. “It’s nice to have performances like this,” Edurne appreciated. The singer also emphasized how well the voices are pasted. “You have your essence, but then you form a pineapple,” he added. Dani Martínez thought it was a “quality” performance. And Paula Echevarría pointed out that they are “individually very good and much more together”.

Belter Souls is a musical company that originated in Murcia. Although, as Pablo, the director, has pointed out, they have moved to Madrid at the moment and have members from different places. “Proud to be from Murcia,” emphasized the leader of the formation. This performing arts group came into existence in 2016, but it was in 2019 when, after creating their first major production, ‘Joyful!’, it became more relevant. The national tour with this show has allowed them to introduce themselves to the rest of Spain and record their first album. In 2022 they released their debut album, consisting of eight songs from ‘Joyful! And now they wanted to try their luck at the casting of the television program. “I present myself to ‘Got Talent’ because I believe that music should occupy a much more important place in people’s lives and bring a little joy to the world, that we need it now more than ever,” Pablo explained before he the audience and jury.
