The American band led by drummer and composer Franklin Kiermyer will perform at the Algezares club this Saturday at 10:30 pm.
Music can open our hearts. That is the aim of the band Scatter The Atoms That Remain, who will perform at Jazzazza Jazz Club (Algezares, Murcia) on Saturday, October 1, at 10:30 PM – tickets: €22, at the table; €16, general advance (standing); and €18 at the box office on the day of the concert (standing)–. In other words, the purpose of this American formation, identified with the ‘avant-garde’ style, is to rest and let go in that opening. Music finds its strength in that.
This new quartet is led by drummer/songwriter Franklin Kiermyer and consists of saxophonist Ben Solomon, pianist Davis Whitfield and Otto Gardner on bass. Both are virtuosos and are all magnetized by their unique dedication to the power of music, according to Jota Baeza, owner of Jazzazza.
In their musical process, in which their creativity and commitment stand out, the band Scatter The Atoms That Remain believes that music should not sound like something, but rather provoke or achieve something.
With their sound they try to feel love and get addicted to that feeling, love the brave heart that motivates the search, love the music itself and love to share it with others. The more passionate the love, the greater the music.
