Darren Henley accidentally fell and caused fatal trauma

Drummer Darren Henley, better known as DH Hazard, died last Friday, October 28, at his Los Angeles home, where he suffered an accidental fall that caused fatal trauma that immediately caused death.

The death was announced this Saturday on the official Twitter account of the social network of the legendary American punk band ‘Dead Kennedys’, of which Darren Henley was the drummer. The band indicated that details of the funeral will be announced in the coming days and appreciate the words of comfort and feelings of support.

After the tragic death of the legendary drummer, who was 63 years old, the group demands respect for the privacy of the musician’s family during these difficult times.** Darren Henley, native of Saint Louis (United States) joined 1981 to the Dead Kennedys where he remained until the dissolution in 1986 of the mythical punk rock band, author of albums such as Plastic Disasters, Frankenchrist and Bedtime for Democracy.

When the Dead Kennedys reunited in 2001 without Jello Biagra, Peligro returned to the group until this year, with the exception of a hiatus between 2008 and 2009.* In addition to the Dead Kennedys, Peligro was part of the band Red Hot Chili Peppers where he replaced Jack Irons on drums in 1988 and contributed to the album Mother’s Milk released the following year. However, his participation in this group ended due to problems with drugs and alcohol, and he was replaced by Chad Smith, who remains as a drummer in Red Hot Chili Peppers today.

Occasionally he also played his music for rock groups such as The Hellations, Jungle Studs, Nailbomb, The Feederz, Lock-Up, The Two Free Stooges, Reverend Jones and SSI.
