The Regional Film Library of Francisco Rabal has launched the cycle ‘Cinema and Transition: 40 Years of Statute of Autonomy of the Region of Murcia’.
Within the monograph, titles such as ‘Pepi, Luci, Bom y otras chicas del montón’ (Pedro Almodóvar, 1980) are scheduled to be screened on January 21, ‘Camada negra’ (Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, 1977) on January 28, or ‘Colorín colorado’ (José Luis García Sánchez, 1976) on January 31.
The films ‘Dearest Executioners’ (Basilio Martín Patino, 1977); ‘El futuro’, on February 18 and 19; and ‘Arrebato’ (Iván Zulueta, 1979), scheduled for April 12 and 14, are the other titles that complete the cycle. These films offer the viewer a journey to the early years of democracy as they tell the history of Spain from different areas.
