GAA players are sought after as extras in the recent Liam Neeson movie, but only if they have ’70s style hair.
Filming of the action movie Land of Saints and Sinners will begin in Donegal later this month and run through May.
Action adventure tells the story of a retired assassin who is forced to play cat and mouse with three terrorists.
An invitation has now been sent out for additional film participants to participate in the GAA game scenes.
But those who plan to apply should be warned that tight haircuts prevent them from playing a major role alongside Hollywood entrails.
Casting agents strive for a tougher look.
A spokesperson for MovieExtras.ie said, “We’re looking for ’70s hairstyles (beards, mustaches, beards and long hairstyles are welcome), GAA players, men and women of all ages, and good access (sequel roles will require a few days to film.!)

The film is directed by Robert Lorenz, who worked with Neeson on the recent box office hit “The Marksman”.
