‘Freak’ paradise in the Torre Pacheco Manga Hall

Drag performers Onyx and Sotiri were among the guests who attended the first day of Torre Pacheco’s Winter Freak yesterday. The Region of Murcia’s VIII Hall of Manga and Alternative Culture continues today in the facilities of the Ifepa venue, an area of ​​15,000 square meters. The event, which is expected to attract around 14,000 people, brings together everything that has to do with ‘freak’ culture. The programming includes more than 200 activities, including manga, anime, comics, movies, television, video games, ‘cosplay’, ‘k-pop’ competitions, a shopping area, workshops and conferences.

During the second day of the event, supported by the ICA and the General Directorate of Youth, Penny Jay, the founding humorist of the Riot Comedy project, and Sergio Enciso, the “youtuber” creator of “The Pirate’s Kitchen.” The space, which has the region’s largest ‘artist alley’, through which people from all over the country pass, has more than a thousand square meters devoted to ‘What Shall We Play?’ board games; a ‘k-pop’ area where fans of this Korean genre can dance thanks to the association ‘A.Move’; and the largest ‘game’ zone in the region of Murcia, prepared with multiple video consoles and their respective tournaments, giving a major role to the games ‘Tekken 7’ and ‘Dragon Ball Fighter Z’.
