Pavilion 2 of the artillery barracks, Paseo Alfonso X El Sabio and the Hall of Mirrors of the Romea Theater are the main spaces of the new edition of the official Murcian fashion catwalk, which started yesterday and will continue this weekend. It is the fifth edition of this event, “a process of metamorphosis into a multidisciplinary and updated fashion festival, with a focus on emerging talent”, says Natalia Torres, director of Murcia Pasarela Mediterránea.
Yesterday, the Romea Spiegelzaal was the scene of the first fashion action, including the participation of the national and international designer Beatriz Peñalver and the collaboration of Marax, a creative platform specializing in 3D design and virtual reality.

This Saturday, Pavilion 2 of the Artillery Barracks will take center stage with the conference ‘Digital trends in the fashion world’, presented by Marax; fashion workshops ‘upcycling’ by ‘La Mercerie Café Bouton’; ‘pop-up store’ of fashion designers and accessories; the parades of emerging talents from Murcia such as Pat Equilux, Pilar Llamas, Funny Swing, Juan Martínez, Africa Hernández and the firms MotorKulture Clothing and Hoori Design. The program ends on Sunday 8 May with a haute couture parade on Paseo Alfonso X by the international designer Bibian Blue. With the cooperation of flower shop Bésame Mucho and synthetic turf company Neograss, it will be a spring festival.
This appointment with fashion in the Murcia region is organized by the Lalumier Events & Communication bureau, with the main collaboration of the Municipal Council of Murcia, through the Departments of Tourism and Culture, and the Artillery Barracks, as well as the Municipal Council of Murcia.
