Waziri explained that the coffins will be transferred to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) soon to be inaugurated to form part of the exhibit of the museum’s main rooms, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities reported.
This archaeological mission has been operating in this area in the necropolis of Saqqara since 2018 and has made several discoveries so far, including collections of artifacts, coffins and mummies of humans and animals.
