You can now take a virtual tour of Father Ted’s cramped house to celebrate the 25th anniversary of this hit show –

Date:

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the TV premiere of Daddy Teddy, Chill Insurance launched a virtual tour of the show’s famous living room.

You can also view the room in a 360-degree view via a standard smartphone or computer.

However, people who own a VR headset will be able to get the full experience by standing in Daddy Teddy’s room. They will be able to look around and see the animated 3D version of the group in front of them.

Father Teddy was first broadcast on Channel 4 on April 21, 1995 and has broadcast three seasons, including a Christmas special.

It has developed a cult over the past 25 years and is still popular today.

The show was number one in Best Comedy on Channel 4 in 2012.

Father Teddy’s real home may be in Claire, but he lives and is privately owned. There is no living room itself as the interior of the show was filmed in the now rundown London studio Waterloo.

Chill Insurance also hid nine objects in the living room to make eagle eyes visible to fans. It forces users to post nine articles on social media using the hashtag #FatherTed25.

A list of guidelines can be found in the Chill Insurance blog post.

Fergal Lynch, Marketing Director, Chill Insurance, said, “Father Teddy is one of the most beloved sitcoms of all time and celebrates the extraordinary comedic talent that our country has to offer.

To celebrate his 25th birthday, we’re giving fans of the show the opportunity to step into Father Teddy’s cult living room with a unique virtual reality experience.

“Right now, many families may need a change of scenery and Chill Insurance is hoping Abina Teddy’s virtual tour will bring a smile to their face.
