San Javier welcomes magic with a summer festival

San Javier launches a new festival, this time dedicated to the best international magic. The 1st San Javier International Magic Festival, FIMSA, held from July 31 to August 3, includes street magic activities, a children’s gala with the best magicians specializing in a younger audience, a gala dedicated to the great Anthony Blake and an international gala with four magicians of different styles, with the presenter, monologue and actor Luis Larrodera as the presenter.

The magician Enrique de León and the magician Magic Luna, both from San Javier, are behind this initiative that was born “with a vocation for continuity and to continue to grow in future editions”, said the mayor, José Miguel Luengo, during the presentation of the festival , yesterday, in the Consistory with the participation of the Mayor of Culture, David Martínez. The Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts participates in the organisation.

The festival dedicates its first gala to children, which will take place on July 31 in the center of Príncipe de Asturias (Santiago de la Ribera) at 9:00 pm with the participation of specialists in children’s magic Josemari Alcázar (National Prize of Children’s Magic ), Magic Luna (finalist of the seventh edition of the television program Got Talent Spain), Guillermo Avilés and Mago Leoren. On August 2, at 10:30 PM, a gala will be held in the Parque Almansa Auditorium, entirely dedicated to Anthony Blake, one of the most renowned mentalists in the world, with an impressive live show that has been seen by more than 100,000 visitors. spectators. With over 29 years of professional experience that has developed around the world, Blake has earned the title of king of mind magic, mentalism and mental illusions.

The gala on August 3, also in the Parque Almansa Auditorium, will host other types of magic with artists such as Enrique de León himself and his magic of great illusions; the Kybalion Duo expert in fast changing clothes, called ‘Quick Change’; Manolo Costa and Mindanguillo, champions of comedic magic in Spain, Portugal and France, and Luis la Font, specialist in classical magic with appearances, disappearances and transformation of objects.

The International Magic Festival also includes free activities on the esplanade of Barnuevo and Paseo Colón in Santiago de la Ribera on July 31 and August 1 and 2 with Guillermo Avilés, Mago Leoren and Mago Aranda.

The price is 5 euros for the children’s night, from 18 to 22 euros for Anthony Blake and 18-20 euros for the international gala, according to the councilor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo.
